If you are only doing this on one phone line a static IP address will do.
If you have a few users you can give each user his/her own IP address.
Lastly, If you have several users and only a few dialup lines, you can
an IP address to each dialup line (it would be a tty** in this case)
There are also several programs on the net that do the callback thing. I
think that dip either has this feature or mentions it in the documentation.

ObviouslyLameObHack: Building an RS232 cable with an extra connector in
the middle so that I could monitor the communication between a windows
program and the device I was communicating with so I could learn the
protocol that it was using a duplicate it. I told you it was lame.
